Error when runing "manage-bde -pause C:"
When I run manage-bde -pause C: on an encrypted system drive I get the following error:
The command is invalid. No conversion is in progress.
I tried it on multiple machines and I get the same error. I remember I used to be able to run the command at one point. Any suggestions what the issue might be? Is there a GPO setting that blocks it? I am able to manually suspend encryption by going to Control
Panel.

If I'm not mistaken, the protectors parameter manages protection for the encryption key and not the actual disk encryption correct? I am trying to suspend Bitlocker encryption (and resume it afterwards) through script. The script would be needed when the
machines comes out of recovery mode and a suspend/resume is needed.
When running Manage-bde.exe protectors pause c:
on a Windows 7 machine I get: ERROR: Invalid Syntax.

Hi,
Are you encrypting or decrypting your system drive? Or do you run this command to an encrypted system drive? Based on my understanding, when you finish the encrypting or decrypting process, this command should not work.

My question is the following: What's the command (+parameters) that I can use on a Bitlocker encrypted
machine to suspend encryption (for the purpose of say making BIOS changes, and resume it afterwards)?
